María Soledad (Marisol) Barrera, an Ecuadorian citizen worked for CAF, two development banks in Ecuador, chaired the board of the Latin American Association of Development Financing Institutions (ALIDE), Corporacion Financiera Nacional and Banco del Pacifico, Ecuador.
Mrs. Barrera has had the opportunity to create and be part of several key committees during her professional career at different financial institutions such as ALCO, credit committees, and risk management.
Ms. Barrera holds a bachelor’s in business administration degree from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Ecuador and an MBA with focus in International Management from Thunderbird University, Arizona, USA.
