Rocio Suarez, a U.S. citizen, joined the OAS in 2003 and has spent her entire career in the Columbus Memorial Library (CML) where she is currently the Acting Chief Librarian.
Ms. Suarez’s duties as Acting Chief Librarian consist of overseeing the management of the Columbus Library, which is tasked with preserving and disseminating the institutional memory of the OAS. Her responsibilities also include budgetary and administrative oversight of all Library activities and funds.
Ms. Suarez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from American University.
Ms. Suarez has been a volunteer on several Credit Union Committees over the years, most recently serving as a Member of the Technology Committee and an Associate Member of the Assets and Liabilities Committee (ALCO).
