Luz Angela Serrano is Specialist in Cooperation for Development at the Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI) of the Organization for American States (OAS), where she oversees the implementation of development projects aimed to improve access to economic opportunities for vulnerable communities in Latin America and the Caribbean under the OAS Development Cooperation Fund (OAS/DCF). She joined the OAS in 2011 as a consultant of the Department of Human Resources, where she supported the decision-making processes for the delegates, authorities and representatives of the 34 OAS Member States. Luz Angela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government and International Relations from Universidad Externado in Colombia, a Master’s Degree in International Development from American University in Washington DC, and is Project Management Professional (PMP)® with over nine years of experience in the development field working for multilateral organizations in the Western Hemisphere.
Luz Angela has been part of the Credit Union since 2018 and is volunteer to the Community Relations and Membership Committee of OAS FCU.
