Katherina Díaz-Viana, Venezuelan, Industrial Engineer, joined the OAS in 2004 prescribing her services for the Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund, monitoring compliance with its regulations.
From 2005 to the present, Katherina has expanded her career in finance by occupying various positions in the Department of Financial Services, in which she has been responsible for, among other functions, the process of budget formulation and execution, management of payroll process, and the execution of the OAS Tax Program.
Her practical experience in financial, budgetary, and administrative management has been key to her effective participation as a volunteer in the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee for the last 9 years, of which she has been appointed President since 2016.
Ms. Díaz-Viana has worked with management and committee members to meet the growing demands in accordance with the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), ensuring the completion of all required audits and the implementation of its recommendations
Katherina’s experience in the Supervisory Committee gives her solid knowledge to effectively serve as a member of the Board of Directors and promote a global Credit Union, highly committed, focused on its members and providing excellence in service.
