Andrés Sarache, a Venezuelan national, is a professional committed to multilateral cooperation and regional development. Since 2015, he has been working at CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, where he currently is part of the coordination team of the Corporate Vice Presidency of Strategic Programming, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In this role, he supports the execution and monitoring of sovereign financing and technical assistance projects and programs, focusing on sustainability, gender, inclusion, infrastructure, and social and urban development. Additionally, he accompanies the agenda of relations with CAF member countries and the incorporation of new shareholders. Previously, he worked in the Urban Development Coordination of the bank, highlighting his involvement in the Cities with Future Initiative, as well as in the Corporate Directorate of Institutional Development, where he supported the capacity building of public and private actors at the regional level.

In the academic field, Andrés holds a degree in International Relations from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), a Master’s in Public Administration from the Institute of Higher Studies in Administration (IESA) in Caracas, Venezuela, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy at Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He also has a Specialization in International Business from the Metropolitan University (UNIMET). His academic training is complemented by various courses and workshops in areas such as civic design, regularization policies, and business innovation.

Throughout his career, Andrés has demonstrated a strong commitment to education and capacity building. He has been a supervisor of thesis projects at IESA and a visiting professor of political economy at UCV. Additionally, he has actively participated in Model United Nations and has been a speaker at international civil society meetings. His interest in improvisational theater and volunteering in marathons reflects his dedication to both his personal and professional development.
